Shui and How does it relate to Organizing?
Feng Shui is
not a fad, nor is it about religion, philosophy or superstition.
Feng Shui is the Asian art and science that unites ENERGY... time,
space, people and the environment as one integral entity.
Consciously arranging your office and furniture to create a healthy,
peaceful and dynamic flow of energy relaxes the nervous system,
inspires the mind and calms the emotions. In business, this equates
to higher productivity, improved health, better relations, and more
prosperity and financial fortune.
Feng Shui is the ancient
Chinese study of energy flow. Literally, it means wind and water.
Feng Shui practitioners use the five elements: fire, earth, metal,
water, and wood and their associated colors to optimize and balance
the flow of energy in an environment. Often the environment is a
home or a space within a home, but can also be a building, city,
etc.
It is no surprise that famous people like Trump, Tiger,
Oprah, and Spielberg, along with the largest companies of the world
such as Coca-Cola, Sony, Shell,Citibank and others, "actively"
embrace Feng Shui. These companies and people practice Feng Shui
principles as a way to add value to their service, to increase their
profitability, create harmonious relations among employees, and to
reduce employee turnover. Not only that, Feng Shui differentiates
them from their competitors while multiplying their earnings and
free time.
Organizing and Feng Shui are
related - CLUTTER blocks the flow of "energy", and getting rid
of clutter is often the first step toward a peaceful and productive
home, office, and mind. Clutter
affects you physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
