your Spring organizing and cleaning off to a good
start........
The spring is
so refreshing and inspiring, it makes us all feel good.
The warm weather and the returning beautiful sounds of
nature gives us that extra boost of energy. We are ready to
conquer the projects weve been putting off. Getting your home Clean
and in Order is a great way to start the new season off to
a good start. Here are 10 tips to help you get
started.
1) Pull out all
your winter clothes, sort through them, and pack away the
ones to keep. Bring in your spring and summer-wear and get
them ready to use.
2) Store your
winter shoes and boots in shallow storage
containers that fit nicely underneath the bed. This
is a huge space saver!
3) Declutter- If you don't Use it and you don't
Love it, get rid of it ! Go through your magazines and
pitch the ones you've already read. Be honest with yourself. You'll
be thankful you did.
4) Make a list of all
the spring cleaning you need to get done. Schedule ONE project for
an hour each day, until you finish your
list.

Monday: Cleaning
up Clutter.

Tuesday: Mopping and Vaccuuming
Floors

Wednesday: Scrubbing
Cabinets and Walls

Thursday: Laundering -
clothes, curtains, sheets etc.

Decorating and Rearranging
Then, spend 30 minutes to an
hour each day doing your scheduled projects for each room,
throughout your house. You'll be thrilled at the difference you can
make in your home by following these simple steps.
5) Look over all your cleaning supplies and make
sure you have everything you need to get started. Being
prepared is half the battle!!!
6) Have a
Garage Sale or Donate the things you don't use to local
charities. Gather all of these items together
in boxes or plastic bags. Try selling items that are valuable on
E-Bay or another internet resale site.
7) Open the
windows and let the fresh air in. Enjoy the weather while you
clean and get organized!!
8) Have
your drapes and coats drycleaned, and take
your bedspreads to the laundromat for
refreshing.
9)
Clean the Garage!! If your car sits in the driveway because
your garage is too full....it's time to clean it
out. Spring is a great time to get the job done!!
10) Get your outdoor
tools organized for gardening and decide what needs to be done
in the yard. Have fun with it!!! Enjoy!!!!
